Deerwalk is pleased to announce the 3.9.0 release of DeerwalkOne Plan Analytics. This release includes the following key features:
Program Summary Refactor
In the Program Summary Report, on the Program Summary Detail CC302 page, IP Days Per 1000 and Average ER Risk Score from MARA were added. In addition, on the Program Summary CC301 page an All Program row has been added so the user can view the results for all groups as an aggregate.
Quality Metrics Report Customization
The Quality Metrics report (CA122) in Financial Analytics the metrics included in the report have been static and clients have expressed a desire to mix and match metrics versus using the standard Deerwalk set. In this product release the option of the user being able to select which metrics they would like to display in that report has been added. This can be done from the FA122 page using the “Change Metrics” button and also under the user’s profile settings in the application where there is a new Quality Metrics setting tab.
An updated format has been applied to several reports in the Financial Analytics, Clinical Analytics and Program Evaluator section of the application.
Data Search UI Changes
Users will notice that on some of the forms under the “Search” section of Plan Analytics have removed the multiple tabs users could click to add filters from that data type. These data elements can still be used for filtering by using standard filtering functionality available in the product.
Dx Grouper to ER Visit / Admission Results
Diagnosis Groupers have been added to the Admit and ER Summary screens. The SumIt feature has added diagnosis description and diagnosis grouper as options for Sumiting.
User Setting for Chart/Compare Display
Under the user’s Profile Setting an option called “Default Report View for Financial Analytics”, the user isnow able to set if they would like to see both the “Chart” and “Compare” views on report under Financial Analytics or only the chart or comparison view. When “Chart” is selected, Financial Analytics reports will display the “Chart” view first. When “Compare” is selected, Financial Analytics reports will display the “Compare” view first. Regardless of which view they select to show as the default, the user will still be able to toggle between the chart and comparison view on the actual report page.
Historical MARA Scores
To provide historical scores MARA scores 14 months of MARA scores will be generated going back from the current cycle end month for clients (or new groups for existing clients) who have 24 months of data. Rather than only looking at the past 12 months of data for a member to generate their latest score the engine will instead use up to two years of data and repeatedly process back claims to generate monthly historical scores for that time period.
